Clinical Nurse Specialist – Behavioural Support and Community Mental Health

Cindy is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with more than 19 years’ experience supporting children, young people and families. In her roles at Perth Children’s Hospital, she is recognised as a subject matter expert in behavioural support and neuroaffirming care, with additional expertise in parenting strategies and adolescent mental health.

Cindy works collaboratively with parents and caregivers to develop practical strategies tailored to their family, helping to reduce conflict, navigate challenging behaviours and strengthen relationships.

She also works directly with young people to build practical skills for managing ADHD and other everyday challenges. Her approach is compassionate and strengths-based, helping young people find realistic strategies that work for them.

Alongside her nursing qualifications, Cindy holds a Graduate Diploma of Teaching and is currently completing a Master of Mental Health Nursing.
