Westerly Youth Clinic is a new service operated by Dr Grant Ferguson, a specialist in Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine.
We are currently accepting referrals for young people (ages 10 to 24) who need help with an eating disorder or ADHD.
Grant is a paediatrician and a specialist in Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine, which focuses on the health of young people aged 10 to 24. Grant began his career in neuroscience research at the University of Western Australia, before completing medical training at the University of Melbourne. Driven by a passion for youth health, he then trained in General Paediatrics at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, sub-specialising in Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine.
Grant has extensive experience working with young people across Australia and internationally, working in various healthcare settings, including major hospitals, remote communities, and both youth justice and immigration detention centres. This includes specialty areas such as eating disorders, functional disorders, adolescent psychiatry, addiction medicine, sexual health, and gender affirming care.
Since 2021, he has worked as a consultant in Adolescent Medicine at the Perth Children’s Hospital, where he supports young people with a diverse range of needs, including as clinical lead of the adolescent medicine rehabilitation program.
